We are a people of faith, dedicated to continuing the ministries of preaching, teaching, and healing that we inherit from Jesus Christ. These ministries can be experienced in worship, prayer, study, service, music, fellowship, and more! Weekly we gather to worship, sharing our gratitude and joy for the journey of faith, and we go into the world to serve, embracing and being embraced by a world where God is present.

Worship is not confined to Sunday Morning. Throughout the year, special worship services are held to celebrate significant Church holidays and important events of our lives.
The four weeks prior to Christmas are known as Advent. Throughout these weeks we prepare for the arrival of the Messiah into our lives and into our world. The word Advent literally means “coming,” or “arrival,” and so the Advent season is the time of waiting and watching.
Christmas Eve is an evening of joy and celebration. Our 9:00 pm service includes special music and message, sharing in Holy Communion and ending in candlelight. All are welcome as we celebrate God’s gift to us in Jesus Christ.
During the season of Lent, special services are held each Wednesday night focusing on a Lenten theme. Each week a different scripture passage is used to focus on understanding how we can carry out Christ’s directions in our lives. Each service is preceded by a simple supper and all are welcome. Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday are especially holy days in which we honor the story of Christ’s journey to the Cross.
The holiest day of our Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a day of great celebration. The worship service is a time of great joy with songs from our children and adult choirs, special music, and the sounds of ‘He is Risen! Alleluia!’ from the congregation.
